• The Gap of Dunloe(3 km)- Riding through the Gap of Dunloe on the sturdy mountain ponies of Kerry is a thrill enjoyed by many visitors on the grand tour of the Killarney district. Here in the ice age, glaciers carved this mountain defile from the hills.• Ross Castle(3 km)- Ross Castle was built in the late 15th Century on the shores of Killarney's Lower Lake. It is in a wonderful setting.
• Muckross House(3 km)- Muckross House is situated in Killarney National Park and was built for the Herbert family in 1843. Both house and gardens can be visited.
