• South Tynedale Railway(1 km)- Travel behind preserved steam and diesel engines from Britain and abroad, through this area of outstanding natural beauty.
• The HUB Exhibition(2 km)- Transport and heritage museums run entirely by local people. You can find us opposite Alston Railway Station. We welcome coach parties and schools.
• Nenthead Mines(4 km)- Fantastic underground tour, interactive exhibits including working water wheels, centuries of history interpreted in a unique environment.
