• The Théâtres Romains(2 km)- The Roman theatre is the most ancient in France, built by order of Augustus from 17 B.C. to 15 B.C. and expanded during the reign of Hadrian.
• Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourvière(3 km)- Enthroned on its summit and rising fortress like with four octagonal towers and crenellated walls. Its interior is covered with colored mosaics, adjoining it is an ancient chapel. A gilded statue of the Virgin surmounts the belfry.
• La Civilisation Gallo-Romaine(4 km)- Containing the second richest archaeological collections from Gaul. Its collection comes primarily from discoveries made in Lyon and throughout the Rhône-Alpes region.
• Musée des Beaux-arts(4 km)- In the elegant 17th-century Palais St-Pierre, once a Benedictine abbey, the Fine Arts Museum has one of France's largest collections of art after the Louvre.

From Chambéry/Grenoble A43/A41: Head over Guillotière Bridge, then Gailleton Quay in the direction of Perrache then Place Carnot. From Paris A6: Exit Perrache, then follow Place Carnot by taking Cours Charlemagne. From Marseille A7: Exit Perrache/Marche/Gare, Cours Charlemagne then Place Carnot. From Bourg/Geneva via the A42: Head in the direction of Presqu'île and follow the Rhone by taking the Gailleton Quay, in the direction of Perrache, then Place Carnot.
