• Battle of Britain Memorial(1 km)- The memorial commemorates those who flew and those who gave their lives in the last major conflict to take place British soil. Open 1st April - 31st October daily 11am - 5pm
• Historic Dover Castle and Hellfire Corner(10 km)- Half Price entry for Grand guests. Perched high above the Whitecliffs this giant among castles hold the key to over 2,000 years of history. The story stretches almost without break from Iron Age to the Nuclear Age.
• Howlets & Port Lyme Zoo(15 km)- This Fantic zoo was set up by Mike Aspel, it offers the family a change to take a walk on the wild side arround this famous zoo
• McArthur Glen Designer Outlet(15 km)- Based in Ashford. It's all your favourite labels under one roof, a treasure trail of best buys waiting to be discovered. Plenty of places to eat and relax with ample parking and play areas for the kids.

By Car: From the m25, join the m26, this will lead you on to the m20. Follow this to Junction 13, to roundabout, and follow all the signs to the harbour. By Train: Folkestone Central Train station. (Recommend Taxi service to hotel). Maston Airport is only 45 min away (35km).
