Comfortable twin rooms, some with character ceilings. Following a major upgrade in February 2007, rooms have new and enlarged en suite bathrooms. Rooms have views across southern Kingussie and the hills beyond.

Lovely family room to suit parents and younger (up to teenage) children. Consists of 2 separate rooms: one cosy, romantic double-bedded room with en-suite shower room; and one adjoining bunk-bedded room, self-contained, calm and secluded giving more privacy than the usual family room set-up. Lovely views of the Cairngorm Mountains and surrounding countryside.

By road: - 42 miles south of Inverness on the a9 and 70 miles north of Perth. The Scot House Hotel is located on the outskirts of Kingussie near the village exit towards Newtonmore. By rail:The London to Inverness train stops at Kingussie station. On leaving the station turn left, continue to the junction, take a left turn there. The Scot House Hotel is across the road.
