Local Attractions:

• Montmartre(1 km)- Atop the highest of Paris's seven hills. Though the starving artists who made it the embodiment of la vie de bohème have long departed, there's much to enchant, especially if you wander the back streets and avoid place du Tertre.
• Sacré - Coeur Basillica(1 km)- Sacré-Coeur is one of Paris's most characteristic landmarks. The crypt contains what some of the devout believe is Christ's sacred heart--hence, the name of the church.
• La Villette(5 km)- It hosts a spectacular science museum and park. Mostly residential, and not at all upscale, the district is one of the most ethnically diverse in Paris, the home of people from all parts of the former Empire.

Directions:

By car: follow the St-Ouen Avenue, turn left onto Championner, on your right you will see Rue Ordener, turn here and 100 m away turn on your right onto Rue du Ruisseau. At the junction you will see Rue Marcadet on your right. The hotel is 30 away from here, on your left. By underground: once outside the station Lamarck-Caulaicort, take Rue de la Fontaine de la But. At the junction, straight down for 100 metres where you will see Rue Marcadet: the hotel is just on your left.
