Ibis London Excel is a great 2-star hotel located in the East of London, next to Canary Wharf, and ExCel. Ideal for business in the City or Canary Wharf, only 15 minutes to Tower bridge and the Tower of London.

Opened in 2004, the hotel features 278 bedrooms with en suite facilities, air cooling system, tea & coffee facilities, tv with satellite channels, telephone and Internet connection. Wonderful setting on the Royal Victoria Dock. Most of the bedrooms have a beautiful view of East London. Minutes from Canary Wharf, the City and London City Airport and easy access to Central London. • Tate Modern(6 km)- Located along the River Thames, Tate Modern opened in 2000. Housed in the former Bankside Power Station, the gallery pays homage to modern and contemporary art from 1900. The collection includes works from Matisse to Moore, Dali to Picasso and Rothko.
• London Eye(7 km)- From the top of its 140 metre arc, you can see 25 miles in each direction. The capitals greatest landmarks.For tourists it is an essential port of call: relaxing, fascinating and inspiring, the Eye has become a definitive part of the London experience.

By tube from central London: Jubilee line to Caning town then dlr to Royal Victoria, 2 min walk. From the City or Tower Hill: Docklands Light Railway to Royal Victoria. By Car: From London City: a13 to a1261 Aspen way, direction to Excel and City Airport, a1020 Lower Lea crossing, turn left for Excel West. From East, South, West and North: m25 junction 30 for a13 then a1261 to a1020. Lower Lea crossing, turn Left for Excel West. Hotel overlooking the Docklands, Royal Victoria Docks, the Dome and Greenwich, 5 minutes from London City Airport and Canary Wharf.
