• The British Museum(0 km)- The British Museum holds in trust a collection of art and antiquities from ancient and living cultures. Housed in one of Britain's architectural landmarks, the collection is one of the finest in existence, spanning two million years of human history.
• Grant Museum of Zoology(1 km)- Dating to 1828, the Grant Museum is an historic collection covering the whole of the animal kingdom, and containing many rare and extinct specimens such as quagga and dodo remains.

Directions:

By road: from a40(m) to a501, Euston Road, turn right at traffic lights, just past Euston Station. This is Upper Woburn Place which leads onto Southampton Row. By train/ tube: the hotel is situated south of Euston (0.4km), Kings Cross, St. Pancrass and 1.5km North of Waterloo. Take the Northern line on the Tube from Waterloo and Euston, and the Piccadilly line from King's Cross, St Pancras to Russell Square Underground Station. The nearest Underground stations are Russell Square, on the Piccadilly Line, or Holborn, on the Piccadilly and Central Lines. By air: from Heathrow Airport, take the Piccadilly line to Russell Square Underground Station. Turn left out of the Station and walk to the Russell Hotel. Turn left and Thistle Bloomsbury Park is about 400 yards on the left. Directions above are the shortest routes.
