It has magnificent Victorian buildings, broad tree-lined boulevards and wide open spaces. It has a spa heritage dating back to 1571.
• Leeds(20 km)- the exciting metropolitan city offering excellent shops and the Victorian Quarter arcade. Leeds boasts many international restaurants and a large variety of museums, galleries and theatres.
• Bramham Park(4 km)- Early 18th Century French style formal gardens, almost unique in England, with grand vistas and unexpected views, monumental hedges and trees. Temples, ornamental ponds and cascades in over 150 acres of grounds.
Directions:
The Bridge is very easy to find, and is close to the a1/m motorway, the a1/m1 link, local and national stations and airports. By Car - From the South A1/M, turn off at Junction 46 signposted 'B1224 Wetherby', then follow the signs to Walshford and The Bridge. From the North A1/M, turn off at Junction 47, take the York A59 road, then turn first left and follow the signs to Walshford and The Bridge. From the M1 and M62, follow the signs to A1/M North and Wetherby. Then follow the 'From the South' directions.
