Lawson House has an extraordinary past. It was originally built in 1894 as a terrace of three Victorian houses and born as a hotel in 1959, legend maintains that the infamous Kray twins have stayed here.

Follow Greenway Road until you see the cenotaph on your left, turn left into Moughland Lane. Lawson House hotel is situated 200 yards on your right. By road from Chester - Exit the M56 at junction 12. At the roundabout exit Widnes A557 then (also via Manchester), exit the M56 at junction 12. At the roundabout exit Widnes A557. At the second roundabout exit Widnes A557, then continue along the A557 - Take the second exit Rocksavage, Weston Village and The Heath. At the T junction turn right. At the mini roundabout turn left onto Cavendish Farm Road. At the Church turn right into Heath Road South. At the traffic lights turn left into Moughland Lane.
