• Village Batignolles(1 km)- A quiet, old-fashioned village of shops and residences. Just north of the place, the craggy waterfalls and duck-ponds of the Romantic park, sq. des Batignolles. To the west, restaurants, cafés and more shops.
• Opéra and Surroundings(2 km)- The area around the southernmost border of the IX arrondissement is known as l'Opéra after the area's distinguishing landmark, the Opéra Garnier. Just to the north of the Opéra are the city's famous shopping malls, Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps.
• Avenue Des Champs-Elysées(2 km)- The avenue des Champs-Elysées is the most famous of the 12 symmetrical avenues radiating from the huge rotary of pl. Charles de Gaulle-Etoile. The Champs is lined with chain stores and expensive cafés.
• Arc de Triomphe(2 km)- A 50 metres high and 45 metres wide landmark, commissioned by Napoléon to celebrate his victory at the battle of Austerlitz. The monument stands in direct line between the Louvre and the Grande Arche de la Défense, the monument offers amazing views.
