• Musée Dauphinois(10 km)- A collection of ethnographic and historic mementos of the Dauphine, folk arts and crafts are displayed. Furnishings, tools, artifacts, and replicas of Alpine settings re-create the life here.
• Musée de Grenoble(11 km)- Founded in 1796, this is one of the country's oldest art museums. Flemish and Italian Renaissance works are displayed. There are a number of older paintings and sculptures, along with artifacts and relics from Greek, Egyptian, and Roman times.
• La Bastille(14 km)- First fortified during the middle ages the hill is covered with 19th century fortifications. Europes first town centre cable car links La Bastille to the city. Ride up to view the impressive Alps scenery and learn about the military position served here.
• Geo Charles Museum, Echirolles(4 km)- It is regarded as one of the first museums 'Sports/Culture' in France. The collections are made up of contemporary works illustrating the relationship between art and sports.

By Car: From Lyon: - Take the A43. - Join the A48 in the direction of Grenoble. - Then follow Gap/Sisteron. - Take exit 5N towards Seyssins/Seyssinet. From Gap: - Take the N85 towards Grenoble by following signs for La Mûre and Vizille. - Join the N75. - Take the A480 in the direction of Lyon. - Take exit 5B towards Seyssins/Seyssinet. From Chambéry: - Take the south ring road in the direction of Seyssins/Gap/Sisteron. - Exit towards Seyssins.
