• Cathédrale Ste-Marie(5 km)- The 13th-century cathederal whose spiny steeples pierce the sky above Bayonne. The church has endured fires, a stint as a cemetery, and suffered destruction during the Revolution, renovations have completely erased all traces of decay.
• Musee Basque(6 km)- In 1663 this building became the Hospital Saint-Nicolas, then a house for orphans. In 1923, it became the Musée Basque. The museum has large collections of objects, documents and books. on th history of Basque Country and the Western Pyrenees.
• Musée Bonnat(6 km)- One of the best collections of paintings in France. Some of the greatest European masters are displayed here. There's a preview of European art from the 13th - 20th century also a collection of antiquities in the basement, and a museum within a museum.
• Bayonne naturel history museum.(7 km)- Founded in 1856, the Natural History Museum houses some 20 000 collection items. It offers many different events and activities with its annual theme based exhibitions.

From Dax: - Take the N124 and then the A63 motorway towards Bayonne. - Take the exit 6 signposted Bayonne Nord. From Bordeaux: - Take the A63 motorway. - Take the exit 6 signposted Bayonne Nord. From Pau/Toulouse: - Take the A64 towards Bayonne. - At the roundabout take the A63 motorway towards Bordeaux. - Then take the exit signposted Bayonne Nord.
