• The Art and History museum(6 km)- In the ancient Saint-Clément's town-house, you will find the town's history. A relief map from 1835 shows the town at that time. The Art Gallery displays pictures painted between the 16th and the 19th centuries.
• Rochefort's landscape(7 km)- Rochefort is the centre of a small region. Stories of its landscape : Roman remains along the Charente river, marshes, an ocean dotted with islands, a coast-line strewn with mussel-beds, oyster parks and beaches. Maritime fortresses such as Fort Boyard.
• The Royal Cruise(7 km)- Take a cruise from Rochefort's Royal Naval Base, up the River Charente river, and discover many maritime fortresses, the last working transporter-bridge in France and the islands of Aix, Madame and Oléron.
• Le Jardin des Retours (the Garden of Returns)(7 km)- The 'Jardin des Retours' a contemporary creation surrounds the 'Corderie Royale' in greenery. It is a modern creation of landscape painter Bernard LASSUS, situated in the shipyard. It reminds us of expeditions both maritime and botanical.
