• Palais des Beaux-Arts(3 km)- Prestigious art museum second in France only to the Louvre. It features works of Goya, Donatello and Veronese along with German paintings and sculptures from the 15th and 16th centuries.
• Lille(3 km)- Great commercial and cultural centre. Lille is a city with many different faces. It counts culture and entertainment among its assets. The city has examples of great architecture dating from the Middle Ages up to the urban landscape of the XX century.
• The Braderie de Lille(3 km)- Two days of madness on the first weekend in September. Incontestably, the biggest flea market in the whole of Europe, it attracts over a million visitors.

Directions:

By Car: From Paris A1: - Head towards Villeneuve d'Ascq/Roubaix on the A22. - Then take the N227Roubaix/Villeneuve d'Ascq exit number 2 for Cysoing/Cité Scientifique. - At the 1st traffic lights, turn right in the direction of Hem by the S952, then go straight on for 8 kilometres. From Gand: - Take the A22 in the direction of Paris. - Exit at Roubaix Est, then head in the direction of Wattrelos/Leers (do not follow Hem). - At the roundabout, turn right in the direction of Forest/Marque. From Dunkerque: - Follow directions for Paris/Villeneuve d'Ascq then Villeneuve d'Ascq/Roubaix on the N227. - Take exit number 2 for Cité Scientifique/Cysoing. - Turn right at the 1st traffic lights in the direction of Hem by the D952 then go straight for 8 kilometres.
