• Marwell Zoological Park(15 km)- Beautiful Marwell has over 200 species of rare and wonderful animals injcluding tigers, snow leopards, rhino, meerkat, hippo and zebra.
• Broadlands(5 km)- Home of the late Lord Mountbatten, Broadlands is an elegant Palladian mansion set in beautifully landscaped grounds by the banks of the River Test, which remain a tribute to the genius of Lancelot 'Capability' Brown.
• Mottisfont Abbey(5 km)- Mottisfont Abbey is a former medieval priory, the abbey has been adapted over the centuries by a series of owners.The garden now contains the National Collection of Old Fashioned Roses, with over 300 varieties.
• Winchester Cathedral(9 km)- For 900 years, Winchester Cathedral has been a place of worship and prayer and so it remains today. The Cathedral houses the longest nave in Europe and is dedicated to the Holy Trinity, Saint Peter and Saint Paul, and Saint Swithun of Winchester.

Directions:

Exit m3 (j12) on to a335 marked Eastleigh North. At first roundabout, follow signs to Chandler's Ford. At second and third roundabouts, follow signs for Ampfield. Go straight over crossroads. The hotel is on the left.
