• Central Library Manchester(14 km)- The Central Library is one of Manchesters most famous and best-loved landmarks. Built well into the twentieth century, the Central Library houses great collections of books, periodicals and other materials.
• Old Trafford (Manchester United)(16 km)- Old Trafford, also know as the Theatre of Dreams is the biggest football club ground in England. It is therefore both a popular tourist attraction and, of course, a regular retreat for keen followers of Manchester United Football Club.
• The Museum of Science and Industry(24 km)- Situated in the oldest passenger railway buildings in the world, the Museum tells the story of the history, science and industry of Manchester - the world's first industrial city.
• Bollin Valley Partnership(9 km)- The Bollin rises in the Pennines and flows through Macclesfield, Wilmslow, and Bowden and eventually into Manchester ship canal. The Bollin Valley Partnership manages over 100 miles of footpaths, picnic sites, a Country Park and Aviation-viewing Park.
