Its impressive Victorian architecture, lovely landscaped gardens, excellent restaurant and spacious oak panelled lounge bar make it an ideal base. Once the family home of the Illife family, our hotel with many original features, lovely landscaped gardens, excellent restaurant and spacious lounge with sweeping staircase create an ambience which is ideal for a relaxing break. During the Christmas season, the Chace will not be serving dinners and breakfasts on these dates: 30th November, 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st December 2007. Limited bar snack/room service menus will be available for evening meal service.

• Coventry Cathedral(3 km)- The ruins of Coventry Cathedral, with the charred cross and Reconciliation Statue, are a reminder of the futility of war, but also of the possibility of reconciliation.
• Ryton Organic Gardens(4 km)- From May 2003, the UK's national centre for organic gardening has a major new attraction. The 2 million Vegetable Kingdom run by membership charity HDRA, will tell the story of Britain's vegetables.
• Midland Air Museum(6 km)- Midland Air Museum houses a unique collection in the Sir Frank Whittle Jet Heritage Centre of aircraft, engines and supporting exhibits illustrating the fascinating story of the jet age.

From m6 (j2) take a46 towards Warwick. Straight on at 2 roundabouts. At 3rd roundabout, take 4th exit, signposted b4110 Stoke. Straight on at next roundabout (first exit). At traffic lights continue straight on. Hotel is a short distance on your left.
