• Chartwell(10 km)- Former home of Sir Winston Churchill. Lovely stately home set in Westerham. Wonderful day for history enthusiasts and national trust lovers. Cream teas nearby too with old English cream teas on the village green. Lovely!
• Hever Castle(2 km)- Next door to Hever Hotel which used to be part of the Estate of Hever Castle. Former home of Anne Boleyn and retreat for Henry V111. Lovely castle and award winning grounds and water maze and mazes for young and old alike.
• Chiddingstone Castle(4 km)- This enchanting complex of mansion (dating from 1550), courtyards and garden buildings was re-modelled by William Atkinson c1800 as a fantasy castle. Sympathetically restored, elegantly decorated and furnished, it recalls the tranquillity of a past age.
• Penshurst Place & Gardens(9 km)- Penshurst Place is a magnificent medieval manor house. Ancestral home of Viscount De L'Isle, with medieval Barons Hall, state rooms and toy museum. Walled Tudor gardens and ancient parkland. Also a plant centre, garden restaurant and nature trail.

By Rail: If travelling by train, the nearest station is Edenbridge Town. You will need a taxi to get from the station to Hever Hotel.
