Grand Hôtel Moderne Lourdes

Built in 1896 by the Soubirous, the hotel is a jewel of the early 20th century French architecture and provides one of the best locations in Lourdes, only 50 metres from the Sanctuaries.

Grand Hôtel Moderne features 106 rooms which have been entirely renovated in 2008. They are spacious, elegant and tastefully decorated and they offer a high level of comfort. The hotel is also equipped with a restaurant and 2 meeting rooms. With its amazing Baroque facade and stylish Art Nouveau living rooms designed by the famous architect Louis Majorelle, Grand Hôtel Moderne combines charm, elegance and comfort in the heart of Lourdes. It offers easy access to the Grotto and tourist sites of the city (native house of Bernadette Soubirous, basilicas, fortified castle and museums). It also provides a nice bar and charming restaurant, Le Majorelle, where you can enjoy typical French-Italian cuisine food in a stylish setting made of mouldings, wood and Italian marble from Carrare.

All the triple rooms are ideal for families. They are very spacious (215 sq. ft) and most of them have access to a balcony. By Car: - On the A64 motorway take exit 12 for Lourdes-Tarbes Ouest. - Then drive 15 km to the centre of Lourdes before heading to Grotto. - The hotel is in front of the Esplanade which leads to the sanctuaries. By Air: 2 airports are located close to the city: Tarbes-Lourdes airport (10 km) and Pau-Uzein (50 km).
