• Gayle Mill(2 km)- Runner up in the BBC Restoration Programme - see the historic watermill restored to its former glory - open mid 2006.• The Rope Makers(2 km)- Part of the fascination of watching ropes made is the satisfaction os seeing the complete process, in which many strands of yarn are rapidly twisted into a strong rope. Visit the ropeworks and look around the well stocked shop.
