• Scafell Pike and Mountains(10 km)- Scaffel Pike is Englands Highest Mountain, walking nearby is excellent with Helvellen, Butter Crag, Lower and Upper Fells

Directions:

From the south leave the M6 at Junction 36 to the South Lakes. Follow the A591 through Windermere and Ambleside towards Grasmere. Stay on the A591 at the turn to Grasmere (a mini roundabout). Soon after a lay-by on the right there is a 30mph road sign which is opposite the entrance to the hotel. If you reach the next turn-off into the village, you have gone too far.
