Family Room ()

Spacious and spotlessly clean rooms, refurbished between 2003 and 2007 to a very high standard. Some doubles have views over our award winning garden, the market town of Appleby and the Eden Valley. Some rooms are interconnecting. Most of the family rooms have pull out single beds but one has bunk beds. Kids stay free if sharing with parents. They are only charged for meals taken.

• Eden Ostrich World(10 km)- various rare breeds and ostrich's on this working farm, tractor rides, farm tour, childrens soft play area and out-door fun park
• Rheged discovery centre(17 km)- Enviromentally friendly visitor attraction with I-max cinema showing various films about Everest,Shackletons antarctic adventure. Also on site is the national mountineering exhibition
• Ullswater(30 km)- One of the most quiet and peacefull Lakes. Sailing, cannoing, and Lake cruises available.
• North Pennine way(5 km)- Coast to Coast walk taking in breathtaking views from North Yorkshire to the Lake District fells.

Directions:

From the North: - Take the M6. - Exit at junction 40. - Join the A66 towards Brough. - Take the Appleby turn-off and turn right immediately. - Follow road for half a mile. From the East: - Take the A1 (Scotch Corner). - Join the follow A66 towards Penrith. - Take the Appleby turn-off. - Follow road for two-thirds of a mile. - Take the first right. - Take the second left. - Follow the road for a quarter of a mile. From the South: - Take the M6. - Exit at junction 38. - Take the B6260 to Appleby. - Drive through the town to a T-Junction; turn left. - Take the first right. - Follow road for two thirds of a mile.
