An 18th century former coaching inn, the Hotel offers country charm with many original features. It has an excellent and convivial restaurant, and a function room for weddings, and celbrations of all kinds. In winter expect roaring log fires, and a warm welcome throughout the year. It is a firm favourite for walkers, fishermen, and families looking for a base that is perfectly appointed to explore the North Northumbrian and Scottish Borders countryside; it is by the foothills of the Cheviots, only a few minutes away from Lindisfarne, and fifteen minutes from the Scottish Border.
