• Jane Austen's House, Alton(23 km)- The Jane Austen Museum is housed in a charming red-brick seventeenth house,Jane's last home, where she lived with her mother and sister Cassandra from 1809 until 1817.
• The Watercress Line(23 km)- The Watercress Line will transport you back to the 1950s when steam still reigned supreme. We run trains between the beautiful Georgian town of Alresford and Alton where a link is made to the national rail network.
• The Vyne, Basingstoke(4 km)- Built in the early 16th century for Lord Sandys, Henry VIII's Lord Chamberlain, the house acquired a classical portico in the mid 17th century and contains a fascinating Tudor Chapel with renaissance glass.
• Beaulieu(71 km)- Discover Beaulieu at ground level with a meandering stroll along the Mill Pond walk or from the air on board the high-level monorail. Beaulieu really does have something for everyone.

Directions:

From M4 - Exit at Junction 11 and follow a33 towards Basingstoke. After 4 roundabouts, 10 miles, you will come to a set of traffic lights - stay on a33. After a short section of dual carriageway (stay in left lane) take 2nd exit off roundabout (brown and white hotel sign.) Follow this road over 1 set of traffic lights and a mini roundabout and the hotel drive is soon to be found on the left hand side. From M3 - Exit at junction 6. Following signs for Basingstoke, straight over at the first roundabout, then take the third slip road left signposted A33 Reading, then at roundabout take 4th exit towards A33 Reading. At the next roundabout take the third exit still on the A33. At the next roundabout, take the last exit signposted The Hampshire Court. Follow the road round, through 1 set of traffic lights then straight over mini roundabout. The hotel is soon to be found on the left hand side.
