With great countryside and warm hospitality, the hotel is perfect for an enjoyable break in Scotland. The hotel's own 9-hole parkland course in the town is often used as parties arrive/depart town. It is advisable to avoid Tuesdays and Thursdays after 16:00, as this is when it is busiest. If a steward is not in attendance then there is an honesty payment box that you can use. There are some great views over the Dee to Threave Castle and the course is ideal both for beginners and high handicappers. Facilities include a clubhouse and bar catering during May to September. Club and trolley hire and changing rooms are also available.
