The Lerryn Hotel is family-run and near Castle Beach, yet only an 8-minute walk to town and close to the castle, docks, stations and all amenities.

In an ideal location for discovering this part of Cornwall, The Lerryn Hotel was built in 1909 as a birthday gift for the daughter of the builder. Its original name was 'The Wrekin'. We have a 2-star quality rating awarded by Visit Britain. Many of our 20 bedrooms have sea views, whilst 2 ground floor rooms are provided for less able guests. Room 2 is a large twin room and wheelchair friendly, with a roll-in shower facility and adjustable seat in the shower cubical, suitable for wheelchair users. We also have a ramped access for guests with mobility problems. Please note that we are a non-smoking establishment. Pets are accepted by prior arrangement. With 20 bedrooms, we are able to offer special rates for groups irrespective of length of stay. At various times during the year, we offer special short breaks (half board).

One room is on the ground floor, sleeps 3 people and has views over the private garden. The other room is on the 1st floor, has sea views and sleeps 3 adults and one child up to 8 years old.

• National Maritime Museum(1 km)- Opening in June 2002 this museum is a must for all seafarers and landlubers alike. Famous vessels, exhibits both working and static.
• St Michaels Mount(22 km)- Situated off the coast at Marizon near Penzance. Beautiful gardens, house and chapel. See were they discovered the remains of a gaint which once terrorised the local countryside. Climb the Mount to visit the house still home to Lord and Lady St Levern.
• Eden Project(26 km)- It is already being hailed as the 8th Wonder of the world.Inside the greenhouse are plants & fruit from the Mediterranean,South Africa, California and more.
• The Tate Gallery in St Ives(26 km)- Well worth a visit. The gallery has many modern paintings and sculptures. The tate itself is a splendid piece of architecture.

By road: Via m5 Exit at junction 31 (a30 Okehampton/Bodmin). Continue a30. Exit at a39 (Truro/Falmouth). Follow signs for Castle, Docks. By train: Get off at Truro. Catch local train. Get off at Falmouth Town (4 minutes walk uphill).
