Rooms

Single Room ()

All recently refurbished in different styles and all sizes. State- of-the- art bathrooms with showers. The rooms are small and this is reflected in the price. Two of the smallest rooms have sea views which is why we have kept them. One of these has access to the balcony on the 1st floor. They're all decorated differently, again with small extra touches. Two rooms have wonderful sea views. One has views over the town and Ferry terminal.
Number of Beds:

Twin Room ()

Twin bedded room with no sea view. Room 9 has interesting, unusual bathroom, like a garden shed - not for the conventional!
Number of Beds:

Double Room ()

Individually styled double en suites, all have sea views. One has 4 Poster bed. One has access to balcony. The rooms have been carefully designed with lots of little touches to make them less like hotel rooms. Wonderful views overlooking Dovercourt Bay.
Number of Beds:

Family Room ()

Room 6 is a family room, with pine ingeniously used to maximise the available space. The shower room in this case has fittings in clear plastic with brightly coloured fish embedded. They are imported from Australia and add a cheerful, novelty touch.

Deluxe Double Room ()

There are 2 deluxe double rooms: Room 4 has a sea view and a large double bed. There are views from 4 windows and balcony access. There is a spacious, stepped shower room. Room 12 does not have a sea view but has recently been refurbished. The room features flamboyant Sanderson wallpaper, marble dressing table and cubist bathroom furniture on slate tiles. There is a walk-in wardrobe and the room is smaller than room 4. This room is for lovers of design.

Directions:

By road: from Colchester a120 to Harwich, at Ramsey junction take the Dovercourt turn-off. After approximately 1.5 miles you reach a pedestrian crossing with shops either side followed by a right turn at a t junction; turn right into Fronks Road and stay on this road to the seafront and Marine Parade. By public transport: Nearest railway station - Dovercourt; from there we advise taking a taxi (1/2 Mile) to hotel, if carrying luggage. From London - mainline Liverpool Street, trains every hour, change at Manningtree - 4 through trains per day. Harwich taxis are cheaper than London taxis; advice if interested.
