We certainly don't here at the Dog and Partridge country Inn, so why not treat your loved one to a romantic weekend in the hamlet of Swinscoe on the Derbyshire/ Staffordshire border. On arrival from 3pm we will be serving a wonderful cream tea in the bar in front of the fire. After you have signed in we will escort you to your room, where bubbly and chocolates awaits. With a Romantic candlelight 5 course Valentines dinner for two . On the following day enjoy breakfast in the restaurant why not go for a for a romantic walk before your return home.

• Peak District includes Dovedale, many other walking areas, cycle trails and picturesque villages(0 km)- This area is ideal for walks with Dovedale only 4 miles away. Two cycle trails are located within a 3miles of the hotel. The area also offers picturesque villages, shops, tea rooms and other attractions.
• Potteries - includes Great factory shops, and all the famous names.(12 km)-
• American Adventure Theme Park(15 km)- American Adventure is a theme park ideal for all the family (entrance fee cheaper than Alton Towers)
• Alton Towers(5 km)- Alton Towers is a theme park. It is aimed at all age groups from young to old.

We are located on the a52 between Ashbourne and Leek in the village of Swinscoe. Approximatly 3 miles from Ashbourne on the left hand side.
