The Falcon is part of the Compton Estate, owned by Lord Northampton, and situated in the pretty hamlet of Castle Ashby. The Estate does, in fact, own the entire hamlet which is untouched by time and quintessentially English, with many walking routes through the beautiful surroundings and a small courtyard of shops. A traditional country hotel, The Falcon's emphasis is on excellent food and service. The restaurant serves modern English cuisine, prepared using fresh local ingredients, where possible. The oak-beamed Cellar Bar has a fine selection of beers and wines with which to accompany the excellent bar meals. The hotel's 2 fully-equipped meeting rooms can accommodate up to 40 people for special occasions or business events.
