Very near are some horse-rentals where you can get a horse for a nice ride through the woods of Texel. Also in the direct neighborhood is a Sub-tropic swimming-pool. We give out discount coupons for the swimming-pool to our guests. Our hotel is a pleasant family hotel with 31 rooms. There is a comfortable lounge with a homelike ambiance, a fireplace and billiards. The dining room with a glazed veranda has an unforgettable view. In the gardens around the hotel, there are few different terraces. At the backside of the hotel is a terrace at the pond with all kinds of ducks. There you can enjoy the sun, a drink and the countryside.

The ferry to Texel is departing from "Den Helder". How to get to "Hotel Tatenhove" by car: When you get of the ferry, you are on the main way of the Island. The way is called "Pontweg". The Pontweg has got side-ways with numbers. Take side-way 16. and take the first road to the right. When you did that, you will see the hotel at the left side. "Hotel Tatenhove" the place where you can fully enjoy the peace and nature of our beautiful Island. By Taxi: At the ferry-terminal in Den Helder you can buy a ticket for the Taxi.
