CANCELLATION POLICY: null COMMENTS: Pricing is based on a minimum stay of 2 nights. Stays of one night are not accepted. Please note that as there is no night porter facility, the latest evening check-in time is 22.00. The lead party making the booking will be liable for the cost of any damage repair or additional cleaning required due to a client's actions. This may be charged to the debit or credit card provided as surety for the reservation at the time of booking. In addition, a surcharge of GBP 50 will become payable towards the cost of additional cleaning required to bring the room back to the standard expected by subsequent guests. This will be charged to the debit/credit provided as surety for the reservation at the time of booking. Payment Information: For payments made by credit card, a surcharge of 2% (American Express: 4.5%) will be added to the client's bill (there is no surcharge for payment made by debit card). Please note that any balance due is payable on arrival (not on checkout). Deposit Information: A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total holiday cost, or the cost of the first night's stay (whichever is greater), is required at the time of making the booking. This will be charged to the debit or credit card provided as surety for the reservation at the time of booking. Where the booking is in respect of 2 or more rooms under the same booking reference, the deposit will be allocated between the rooms in proportion to the cost of each room and, in the event of cancellation or amendment of the booking or part of the booking, is not transferable between rooms.

This is a large, beautifully decorated room with a super king-size bed and a single bed. It has a bay window with views over the local rugby/cricket pitch.

These rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. One is on the ground floor (please state your preference at the time of booking). One can also be set up as a king-size double room, if requested at the time of booking.

• Agatha Christie's Riviera(0 km)- Follow the footsteps of the world famous crime writer and visit attractions & places she loved in Torquay - Grand Hotel; Torre Abbey; Kents Cavern with its prehistoric remains and many more places of interest all easily accessible from Buckingham Lodge.
• Living Coasts(1 km)- Opened July 2003 - See life where the sea meets the shore and find out more about marine conservation.
• Dartmoor(15 km)- Area of natural beauty. Nature trails, Hiking, Walks. Attractions to visit include: Canonteign Falls (England's highest); Dartmoor's miniture pony & animal farm; Widdecombe with its 'cathedral in the moor' and lots more!!
• Model Village(3 km)- Take the open topped bus from Torquay's Harbour Area (about a 1 km walk along the sea front from the hotel) and visit the award winning gardens and model village. Visit Bygones life size victorian streets & take a ride on the cliff railway.

By Car From the M5: - Follow the A38 to Torquay. - Take the A380. - Take the A3022 into Torquay. - Stay in the right-hand lane when you reach the junction of Torre station and Halfords. - Follow Avenue Road and pick up signs to the seafront and Paignton. - At the 2nd set of traffic lights on the junction of the Riveria Centre and Falkland Road, take a sharp left turn onto Falkland Road. - The Buckingham Lodge is approximately 100 yards on the left-hand side (set back next to Glendower Hotel). Transfer: You can be collected from and delivered to the train station if required.
