The Clarendon Hotel overlooks historic Blackheath, a true gem in London's crown, offering a village atmosphere close to central London. Great bars, restaurants and boutique shops surround the hotel. There is the River Thames and many fine attractions to visit nearby. All rooms are en suite and the hotel offers the Meridian Restaurant, Nautical Chart Bar and full conference and banqueting facilities. The Clarendon has always prided itself in its 1st rate room service, where quality and promptness are watchwords; the sign of a quality hotel. EXCEL TRANSFER:- You must book Excel Transfer Inc Rooms, which are only available on certain days for certain shows, the transfer will run on show days only, not prior or after the show dates, the transfer aims to arrive 15 minutes prior to the show opening and will leave promptly 15 minutes after the show finishes Car Parking Facilities The hotel has a front and rear car park. The front car park has space for approx 35 cars and the rear 15 cars. Car parking space is limited when the hotel is busy and cannot be guaranteed. When the car parks are full, guests have the choice of parking on nearby streets or the main village car park at Blackheath station open 24hours and has council secure parking status. This is a five-minute walk from the hotel. Local street parking is made up of single yellow lines, resident and business bays. Village parking rules are as follows:- Monday-Saturday – guests can park free from 7pm-9am Weekend parking is free from Saturday 7pm-9am Monday (this applies to single yellow, resident and business bays) Off street parking is in Prince Charles Road and All Saints Drive (in front of the hotel) and South Row, which is to the right of the hotel by the Princess of Wales Pub and pond. To get to the rear of the hotel, turn right when coming out of the front hotel car park drive 100 meters until you arrive at the Princess of Wales Pub, drive alongside the pub and take the first turning on the right (South Row). You will then arrive at the back of the hotel where there is a small car park. The rear entrance is not suitable access for wheelchairs as there are 8 steps to reception and the rear door entry system not accessible for wheelchair user. The front entrance has 2 disabled car bays and a disabled ramp to enter the hotel.

• Royal Obsevatory Greenwich(1 km)- Founded as a scientic institution for Navigation research by Charles 11 in 1675, the Observatory is home of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). Among its most valued possessions are the clocks developed by John Harrison to determine longtitude at sea. FOC
• National Maritime Museum(1 km)- Britain's seafaring heritage is dramatically recreated in galleries with maritime treasures and artefacts. The stories of naval battles, of famous mariers and explorers and the life of Admiral Lord Nelson are vividly brought to life. FOC
• Old Royal Navel College(1 km)- Christopher Wrens's baroque buildings were built 300 years ago as the Greenwich Hospital. Before this, Greenwich Palace. The buildings now house Greenwich University and Trinity College of Music. The Painted Hall & Chapel. FOC
• Cutty Sark(1 km)- The last of the great Tea Clippers was built in Scotland in 1869. Initally she sailed between London and China, but later was re-rooted onto the wool run from Australia. In the 1880's she was the fastest sailing shop of her day.

Directions:

By Car: From the North (M1 and M11): - Take the M25. - Exit at junction 27. - Take the A12 to the Blackwall Tunnel. - When you come through the Blackwall Tunnel, continue on this road (A102) until you see an exit signposted ‘A2 Central London’. - This is Shooters Hill roundabout; take the 3rd exit towards Central London (A2). - Continue on this road through 2 major traffic light junctions until you reach a roundabout on Blackheath; take the 1st exit onto Prince Charles Road - the hotel is at the end of this road. From the South and East (M23 - A2/M2 - M20). - Take the M25. - Exit at junction 2. - Join the A2 towards Central London. - Exit for A2 Central London onto Shooters Hill roundabout. - Then, as above. From Central London: - Drive towards Westminster Bridge. - Continue towards the Elephant and Castle, then the New Kent Road followed by the Old Kent Road (A2). - Continue until you reach Blackheath Hill; at the top of this hill you will reach a roundabout on Blackheath (approx 500 metres after the top of the hill). Take the 3rd exit which is Prince Charles Road, the hotel is at the end of this road.
