Mansfield Castle is an imposing Victorian building set in 3.5 acres of picturesque countryside. This is the perfect venue for a wedding, a short break or a complete getaway.
The Castle is located in the Royal Burgh of Tain, just one hour from Inverness Airport and in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland. Most of the 19 sumptuous bedrooms have stunning views over the Castle grounds, the Moray Firth to the south-east and the Dornoch Firth to the north-east. Indulge in a few rounds of golf, sea and loch fishing, walking, stalking, dolphin and seal watching, Whisky tasting and clan associations. If you are looking for a venue with a touch of class in which to hold a small conference or function, Mansfield Castle could be exactly what you need. We are equipped to cater for up to 30 delegates, seated in the manner of your choice. Choose between Theatre Style, Boardroom Style, Horseshoe formation or any specific arrangement of tables that you may require. Come and experience Mansfield Castle for yourself - your sanctuary in the Highlands of Scotland. Please note that the hotel has no lift.

Directions from Inverness to Mansfield Castle Hotel: From Inverness follow the a9 north over the Kessock and Cromarty bridges. Just after the Cromarty Bridge, you will come across a roundabout where you take the second exit, following the signs for Thurso (a9 North). As you continue north, you will pass Alness on your left-hand side and Invergordon on your right. Finally you will come to a final roundabout where you take the fist exit for Tain. You should ignore the first turn on your right into Tain (this turn off has a brick work display with a Royal Burgh of Tain plaque on it). Continue for about another 500 yards and take the next right, following the signs for Tain Royal Academy. This will take you onto Scotsburn Road, where you will find Mansfield Castle on your left-hand side, directly opposite the Royal Academy.Or choose from these popular destinations:
