By Car: From Inverness (45 minutes): - Drive north on the A9 for 43 miles. - 2 miles north of the Dornoch Firth Bridge, turn right onto the A949. - It is then 2 miles to Dornoch. - The castle is on the square opposite the 13th century cathedral. By Air: The hotel is 1 hour from Inverness Airport. By Train: Trains are available From Inverness to Tain, which is a 10-minute taxi ride from Dornoch.
