We have been established for 25 years and continue to provide quality service to all our guests. We offer the best value in comfort, home cooking and service, complemented by a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We are positioned on a quiet avenue near the seafront, overlooking Whitley Park. We are minutes from the beach, indoor leisure pool, town centre and Metro station. We are ideally situated for visiting historic Northumbria and all areas of Newcastle and Tyne and Wear.

• Newcastle City Centre(15 km)- Newcastle is a wonderful city to explore. The Quayside has been redeveloped and includes the Millennium Bridge, Baltic Arts Centre and the Sage Music Centre. The shopping and nightlife cannot be rivalled.
• Beamish, The North of England Open Air Museum(20 km)- Set in over 300 acres of beautiful countryside, the museum vividly recreates Northern life in the 1800's and 1900's.
• Hadrians Wall(25 km)- Hadrian's Wall, built in AD122, is the most important monument biult by the Romans in Britain. Internationally celebrated as a World Heritage Site, it is the best known frontier of the Roman Empire.
• Alnwick Castle and Gardens(70 km)- Ancestral home to the Duke of Northumberland. More recently the castle has been used for filming Harry Potter. The Magnificent gardens have been inspired by the present Duchess and a new edition to the Gardens is a magical Tree House.

Directions:

By car from the a1 follow signs for the a19 (Tyne Tunnel). Then take the a1058 (East) and continue until you reach the sea front. Take the 1st exit off the mini roundabout and continue along the sea front until a set of traffic lights. Take a sharp left onto the a193 Park Avenue. The Park Lodge Hotel is on your left.
