Visit the John Frost Bridge, the site of inspiration for the book and film ‘A Bridge Too Far’, a story depicting the 1944 Battle of Arnhem. Experience superior views of Arnhem, high up in Eusebius Church, from the new tower rebuilt following WWII damage. The city is well worth investigating, but opportunities to travel further afield are made easier by Arnhem train station, and its links to other major cities.

By Car (from Utrecht / Amsterdam): - Head along the A12, towards Arnhem until you find signs for Oosterbeek, Wolfheze, Arnhem Centre. - Here you leave the A12 (exit 25). Drive straight on until you see the sign for Oosterbeek (at gas station). Turn right here. - Keep on following this road. At the first traffic lights, turn left towards Arnhem. - Follow the Utrechtseweg. - The road splits up at the traffic lights. Take the right hand road and you will find the hotel on the right. By Car (from d Rotterdam / Nijmegen): - From Rotterdam take the A15 towards Gorinchem / Tiel / Arnhem, until you reach the A325. - From Nijmegen, keep following the A325 to Arnhem until you see signs for Oosterbeek (at your left hand side is Gelredome-stadion). - Turn left, keep on following directions to Oosterbeek. - At the second set of traffic lights, turn right. - Continue along the Nelson Mandela Bridge.
