CANCELLATION POLICY: null COMMENTS: Payment Information: For bookings of 4 rooms or more, Beaumont House will charge your credit card with a 25% non-refundable deposit. This will be done either at the time of booking or 6 weeks before arrival, as appropriate. For bookings coinciding with race meetings, 100% (non-refundable) will be charged at the time of booking. Additional Cancellation Policy Information: The 72-hour cancellation policy is based on being advised before 12:00 (noon), 3 days before arrival. Otherwise the appropriate cancellation charges will apply (see cancellation policy section for details). All cancellations must be processed online, not direct with Beaumont House. Should guests shorten their booking after arrival (e.g. leave after 2 nights having booked for 3), the standard 72-hour cancellation policy will still apply. Over the Christmas and New Year period, a 21-day cancellation policy applies, with the 1st night being charged 21 days before arrival. If in doubt, please contact Beaumont House for clarification, using the contact information provided on your booking confirmation email. Minimum Stay: On certain days (Saturdays) and at certain times (festivals and events), a minimum stay policy applies. For example, if you book for the 2 nights Friday and Saturday, and later wish to cancel the Friday night, this will not be possible. Additional Child Policy Information: Children over the age of 10 are welcome during the week. Children of any age are welcome at weekends. However, please note, cots and high chairs are not always available at the hotel. Other Information: For the comfort of all guests, Beaumont House follows a strict non-smoking policy throughout the premises. Guests who breach this policy will be charged a minimum of one extra night’s room rate.

Double En Suite with Shower ()

These rooms are located on the lower ground floor and either face the side or back of Beaumont House, overlooking the side garden and car park or back garden. The rooms are furnished with standard double Hypnos beds (4 feet, 6 inches wide).

Single En Suite with Shower ()

This single room is situated on the lower ground floor facing the car park. The room is double-glazed and has a wall mounted large screen LCD TV with Sky Sports and Freeview channels.

Out of Africa ()

This premier room is designed for a memorable stay. It is a large room furnished in an African style. The bed (6 square feet) is made out of railway sleepers from the East African Railway. Relax on a comfortable sofa and enjoy watching TV on the large wall-mounted LCD screen. This room is situated on the first floor at the back of the hotel, with views over the garden and towards the distant hills.

Out of Asia ()

This is a premier room furnished with an Asian flavour for a memorable stay. The double bed [5 feet wide] was made in Korea. Other furniture also comes from the Far East. Relax and enjoy watching TV on the large wall-mounted LCD monitor. The Asia room is situated on the first floor at the front of the hotel, with views over rooftops, towards the town and distant hills.

Double En Suite with Bath ()

These rooms are located on the 2nd floor. The rooms are furnished in a contemporary style with top quality 5-foot wide Hypnos beds. They are equipped with power showers over the bath. The bathrooms of some rooms have sloping ceilings, limiting head height. All bedrooms have wall mounted LCD TVs with Sky Sports as well as Freeview and radio channels.

Large Double/ Twin En Suite with Bath ()

These rooms feature luxury Hypnos brand twin beds that can join together to make a super king-size bed (6 feet wide) with a Hypnos sofa bed to accommodate an extra guest at an extra charge. Situated on the 2nd floor. The room has a wall mounted LCD TV with Freeview and Sky Sports channels. One room has views of the side garden, and the other has views of the back garden and far views of Leckhampton Hill.

Large Luxury Double/Twin/Family Room ()

The rate quoted is for 2 guests; however our family room can accommodate 4 guests. An additional charge of GBP 17 per person is made for the 3rd and 4th guests. This additional charge will not be detailed on your booking confirmation but will be charged at Beaumont House. Please note in guest comments when booking whether we should prepare the room for more than 2 guests and if you would prefer the main bed made up us a twin (2 single beds) or as one large double. This room, which is located on the 1st floor of Beaumont House, was renovated in 2007. The room faces the back of Beaumont House overlooking the garden and distant hills. It has a large wall-mounted LCD television with Freeview and Sky Sports channels.

Luxury Single En Suite with Bath and Kitchenette ()

This room, which forms part of the Prestbury Suite [but can be booked separately], is situated on the first floor of Beaumont House, with views of the side garden. The bedroom contains a full-size single bed, which can be dressed as a sofa. The en suite has a small (1500 mm) P-shaped bath with overhead power shower. The flat screen LCD TV has Sky Sports and free-to-air channels.

Luxury Double/Twin En Suite with Whirlpool ()

A very special room that can accommodate up to 3 guests. This room forms part of the Prestbury Suite, or can be booked separately. The third guest can be accommodated on a top quality Hypnos brand sofa bed. The rate quoted is for 2 guests. An additional charge for third guest. Please note in the guest comments section when booking, whether we should prepare the room for more than 2 guests, and if you would prefer the main bed made up us a twin (2 single beds) or one large double. When accommodating 3 guests, it is better to leave the main bed as a large double to maximise floor space. The room is situated at the front of the hotel with views of the Cheltenham skyline. The room is equipped with a large-screen, wall-mounted LCD TV [(Sky Sports available). Besides, the bathroom has a 17-inch TV built into the wall at the foot of the bath.

Local Attractions:

• Cotswolds(1 km)- Follow the Romantic Road - a drive for today and one for tomorrow through the beautiful Cotswolds. Booklet with the recommended route is available from the Cheltenham Tourist Office or direct from Beaumont House [small charge applicable].
• Gloucester(11 km)- visit the famous Gloucester docks, stroll amongst the many small shops.
• Cirencester(37 km)- Once the capital of England under Roman rule. Interesting Corinium Museum opened in 2004. Beautiful ancient Church dominating the market square.
• Cheltenham Race course(4 km)- Famous for the annual National Hunt Meeting in March and the Open Meet in November. There are severall other meetings throughout the year.

Directions:

The hotel is situated on the a46 Shurdington Road, which is the extension of Bath Road. From Oxford on the a40, look for the sign of the a46 Stroud & Shurdington. At the roundabout in Bath Road, take the right hand road at the Norwood Arms Pub. The hotel is 200 yards on the left after the pub, before the traffic lights. From the m5, take exit 11 and follow signs to Cheltenham. At the first roundabout (Golden Valley) exit roundabout at 2 o'clock towards Shurdington. Go over several little roundabouts, always following the signs to Shurdington. Ignore all signs for Cheltenham. Eventually on a straight road, you will go past Morrisons supermarket on your left. On the next T- junction/roundabout follow the sign to Cheltenham. After one mile, and passing through pedestrian lights, you will reach traffic lights at a crossroad junction, go straight over and the hotel is the fourth property on your right.
