The location lends itself to a peaceful and relaxing break, a theme continued inside the hotel itself and as such there are no televisions or telephones in the bedrooms. Everywhere you look are stunning views of the lake, hills and forests that make this such a beautiful and peaceful place. Once you're here it feels as if you've left the rest of the world behind...but it is very easy to get to! By Car: From the M6 (13 km / 8 miles): - Exit at junction 39 and take the northbound A6 to Shap. - Drive through Shap then take a left just after the Co-Op, following the signs to Bampton Grange. - Continue on to Haweswater. The hotel is along the country road next to the lake. From Ullswater: - Turn south between Pooley Bridge and Eamont Bridge. - Travel via Askham to Naddle Gate. Satellite Navigation: Please be aware that the nearest registered point is Naddle Gate or Naddle Bridge.
