• Highland Wildlife Park(0 km)- The Highland Wildlife Park at Kincraig has a drive-through area with animals including wolves, deer and European Bison, and an otter pool as well as a walk-round area with many other animals and birds indigenous to the Highlands.
• Clan Macpherson Museum(0 km)- Badenoch is the home of the Clan Macpherson, and the museum, at the south end of the village, houses many exhibits from the history of the Clan
• Highland Folk Museum(0 km)- A large outdoor museum at Newtonmore has re-creations of a 17th century Highland Township, a working croft and many old buildings in a fascinating tableau of the history of the Highlands, complemented by an indoor museum at Kingussie.
• Newtonmore(0 km)- You have the Waltzing Waters - a unique spectacular light and water show that's right on our doorstep. Newtonmore also has a good range of shops for crafts, gifts, paintings and prints, groceries and of course, that pet Haggis to take home with you!

Directions:

From Inverness Airport: - At 1st 2 roundabouts take the 2nd exit (signposted Aberdeen, Inverness, A96). - At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A96 (signposted Inverness). - At next 2 roundabouts take the 2nd exit (signposted Inverness A96). - At Raigmore roundabout take the 1st exit, then merge onto the A9 (signposted Perth), entering Inverness. (Slochd Summit: 1,328feet/405metres). - Branch left (signposted Kingussie, Newtonmore), then at T-junction turn right onto the A86 (signposted Kingussie). - Entering Kingussie and continue onto Main Street (A86) entering Newtonmore.
