• Strathspey Steam Railway(15 km)- Beautiful scenic steam railway. Very friendly and courteous as in the old days. Cute bar and nice prices on the bar carriage which is so quaint you shouln't miss it.
• waltzing Waters(2 km)- Indoor Water Theatre. Excellent stress reliever. Beautiful relaxing music and amazing water and light effects.
• Cairngorm Funicular Mountain Railway(23 km)- Highest Funicular Mountain Railway in UK. in a remote wilderness but easily accessible. Splendid scenery of snow capped mountains and the glorious sandy beaches just below.
• Wildlife Park(5 km)- Exciting Wolf Territory, a raised walkway takes you right into the heart of the enclosure. Step back in time. Meet creatures that roamed the Highlands thousands of years ago.An excellent day out for all the family.

Directions:

Travelling North on the a9: Exit A9 at 'Kingussie/Kincraig. Go down the slip road and at the junction turn left. You are now on the A86 (High Street). *Immediately on the left there is a small Close called 'The Glebe'. Next you will see a modern telephone box, on the left, on the corner of Manse Road. Turn into Manse Road and the Hotel drive is 2nd on the left. The Hotel is at the top of the drive, the private car park at the front of the Hotel. Travelling South on the A9: Exit A9 at 'Kingussie' exit. At the junction turn right. You are now on the A86, go under the A9 bridge and go past the slip road for the A9, due North. The directions are now the same as above from *.
