Skeabost Country House Hotel stands within large private grounds at the edge of Loch Snizort. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding Scottish highlands and visiting the many local attractions.
The hotel also has its very own nine-hole, 18 tee golf course which provides the perfect challenge for any level of golfer. Each of the hotel's bedrooms has colour television, Sky and tea and coffee making facilities. The superior rooms are all individually designed and boast an array of extra comforts. Many of the rooms also offer views over the landscaped grounds, Loch Snizort and the nearby river. Dining is available in the conservatory and in the wood panelled restaurant, both serving a fine selection of freshly prepared local and international dishes. For a more relaxed setting the hotel has its own cocktail bar and billiard room in which you can relax and unwind with your favourite drink. • Uig Pottery(10 km)- Uig Pottery makes functional and unique pottery using their own clay recipe with decorations inspired by the surrounding land.• Dunvegan Castle(15 km)- Dunvegan Castle has been the stronghold of the Chiefs of MacLeod for nearly 800 years and it remains their home.
• Talisker Distillery(30 km)- Robert Louis Stevenson, the famous writer wrote in one of his poems 'The king o' drinks, as I conceive it,Talisker, Islay or Glenlivet'. Situated on the banks of loch Harport, the Talisker distillery was created by the brothers Mac Askill.
• Armadale Castle(50 km)- Armadale Castle Gardens and Museum of the Isles is set in the heart of a 20,000 acre Highland estate. This estate, once part of the traditional lands of Clan Donald, was purchased by the Clan Donald Lands Trust in 1971.
